Pharmacological Mechanism

C10 (capric acid) triglyceride. Also portal-absorbed + β-oxidised in liver. Produces less BHB per gram than C8 (slower kinetics; some peripheral oxidation before reaching liver). Better GI tolerance — combined C8/C10 blends balance ketone yield against tolerability.
