Every dataset this site publishes, with its origin and terms. Record counts are computed from the committed data at build time rather than written by hand, so this page cannot drift from what the site actually ships.
The 14 opening entries predate this completion and are kept as first written; the remaining 74 come from scripts/enrich_constellations_iau.js. Viewing months follow from mid right ascension by a rule that reproduces the original entries exactly.
Join keys and every identifier were fetched live from the HGNC REST API by scripts/annotate_mirna_hgnc.js; two queue slugs (mir434, mir450c) match no current HGNC locus and stay unannotated in scripts/mirna_unresolved.json rather than guessed.
Chosen over the nmap-services file this section previously read at runtime, which is copyright Insecure.Com LLC under the Nmap Public Source License — a copyleft licence whose terms would extend to work built on it. IANA is the authoritative upstream and additionally carries the official description and defining RFC.
8 pages are deliberately left without data rather than mapped to a near-neighbour feature.
Atomic mass, electron configuration, electronegativity, melting and boiling point, density, oxidation states and discovery year.
Cited entries: plate reader, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, cryo-electron microscopy, thermal cycler, surface plasmon resonance, liquid handling robot, and scintillation counter. The older equipment entries carry no per-entry citation yet.
PDG 2026 edition. Cite: F. Takahashi et al. (Particle Data Group), Int. J. Mod. Phys. A 41, 2630011 (2026). Masses, widths, lifetimes and branching fractions keep the precision PDG quotes. The gluon and the three flavour neutrinos carry identity only — their summaries publish no parseable single-particle values.
Joined on the exact CODATA quantity name. Exactness is cross-checked both ways: an entry marked Exact must match an "(exact)" table row, and a Measured entry must carry an uncertainty.
Eight physicists in the roster predate the prize or famously never received it; their absence is recorded in scripts/nobel_unresolved.json, not guessed around.
Years verified against the published prize list: Samuelson 1970, Arrow 1972, Hayek 1974, Friedman 1976, Sen 1998, Kahneman 2002, Ostrom 2009. Non-laureates in the roster (Smith, Ricardo, Mill, Marx, Marshall, Fisher, Keynes, Schumpeter, Piketty) predate or fall outside the prize.
Indicator definitions and release cadences checked against IMF BPM6/WEO, World Bank PIP and ICP documentation, U.S. BLS, the Conference Board, ISM, and The Economist. The June 2025 poverty-line update ($3.00/day at 2021 PPP) postdates most textbooks. Each indicator entry also links its own reference under Sources.
Each entry cites an Econlib Concise Encyclopedia of Economics article where one exists, the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy for game theory and the prisoner's dilemma, and otherwise the English Wikipedia article. Origins and attributions were checked against those pages (Cournot 1838 and Jenkin 1870 drew demand and supply curves before Marshall popularized the diagram in 1890).
Each school cites its Econlib Concise Encyclopedia of Economics article (mercantilism, neoclassical, Austrian, Keynesian, monetarism, new classical, behavioral) or, where Econlib has none, the English Wikipedia article (physiocracy, classical, Marxian, institutional, Chicago).

Titles sentence-cased to Wikipedia conventions; every URL verified 200.
Sources opened and fact-checked 2026-10-26: Nature s41586-022-05172-4 (AlphaTensor), arXiv 2506.13131 (AlphaEvolve), 2402.14396 (AlphaTensor-Quantum), 2511.09951 (T-count reusability), 2405.20748 (OpenTensor), 2606.13408 (FMM catalog), plus Wikipedia pages for the classical algorithms. Every claim on an entry was checked against its own cited page; unsupported figures were left out.
Sources opened and fact-checked 2026-10-26: PRL 67, 181 (Kasevich–Chu 1991), PRL 97, 010402 (Canuel 2006 six-axis sensor), RMP 81, 1051 (Cronin 2009 review), Science Advances 4, eaau7948 (Savoie 2018 interleaved interferometry), arXiv 1603.03246 (Barrett 2016) and 1203.2847 (neutrino communication), plus Wikipedia pages for clocks, limits, and concepts. The AIP page for the Geiger 2020 review (10.1116/5.0009093) blocks automated access, so its topics were sourced from open pages.
All 40 sources opened and fact-checked 2026-10-26 (Wikipedia pages for cooling, trapping, atom optics, spectroscopy, and quantum optics; the Cronin RMP 81, 1051 review for atom diffraction). Course context: MIT OCW 8.422 (opens 200). The Metcalf & van der Straten review (Rev. Mod. Phys. 75, 1431) 404s on APS and via DOI despite being the canonical citation, so entries cite open pages; Foot's and Griffiths' textbooks were research input only (OUP page is JS-walled, no abstract extractable).
Sources opened and fact-checked 2026-10-26: arXiv gr-qc/0302040 (Blagojević PGT lectures), 1010.1041 (f(T) local Lorentz), gr-qc/9405057 (Donoghue GR-as-EFT), 1210.3775 (Blagojević–Hehl reader front matter), hep-th/0406216 (Dunne Euler–Heisenberg), 1201.2309 and 2005.12913 (PVLAS), gr-qc/0604051 (Mottola–Vaulin trace anomaly), 1203.1706 (Danilishin–Khalili GW quantum measurement), plus Wikipedia pages. Springer blocked extraction of the EPJ C 80:611 stability paper and no arXiv version exists, so it has no entry; the local Yang–Mills mass-gap preprint is not cited — the entry uses the Wikipedia Millennium-problem page instead.
Sources opened and fact-checked 2026-10-26: arXiv math/0511691 (large annihilators in Cayley–Dickson algebras; its abstract carries Moreno's multiples-of-four theorem) plus 14 Wikipedia pages from the quaternion-to-sedenion tower. Moreno's own zero-divisor paper (q-alg/9710013) was verified open but is cited via the annihilators paper; de Marrais' unpublished "42 Assessors" box-kites paper is excluded as a source per policy.
Sources opened and fact-checked 2026-10-26: arXiv 2606.24937 (Hitchhiker's Guide to Agentic AI), 2301.04655 (generative AI review), 2610.16733 (TheoPhysEval), 2601.22401 (Gemini–Erdős), 2605.22763 (formal proof search), 2305.07440 (memory mapping RL), 2407.16212 (optimal experimental design, Acta Numerica 2024), plus 13 Wikipedia pages. The Acta Numerica DOI shows a placeholder in the preprint, so entries cite the arXiv page; every number (98% accuracy, 9/353 Erdős problems, 44/492 OEIS conjectures, 700 conjectures / 13 resolved) was checked against the cited abstract.
Includes languages, concepts, machines, and pioneers; URLs verified 200.
Every DOI was resolved through the Crossref API and matched on title, journal, and year before citation: Milgram 1963, Asch 1956, Watson & Rayner 1920, Bandura et al. 1961, Stroop 1935, Darley & Latané 1968, Festinger & Carlsmith 1959, Schachter & Singer 1962, Simons & Chabris 1999, Tolman 1948, and Harlow 1958. Studies without a single canonical paper (Stanford prison, marshmallow test, Strange Situation, Hawthorne program, Pygmalion, Ebbinghaus 1885 monograph) cite their standard reference pages; replication status notes cite Watts, Duncan & Quan 2018, Levitt & List 2011, and Le Texier 2019 respectively.
Effects cite their original paper where one defines them (framing 1981, Stroop 1935, bystander 1968, misinformation 1974, Barnum 1949, Dunning-Kruger 1999; inattentional blindness cites Simons & Chabris 1999, which credits the term to Mack & Rock) and otherwise the English Wikipedia article (anchoring, dissonance, mere exposure, Hawthorne, serial position, spacing, spotlight). Coinage and first-description claims (Hawthorne: French 1953; serial position: Ebbinghaus) are checked against the cited page.
Founding attributions (Witmer 1896, Neisser 1967, Triplett 1898, Allport 1937, Binet 1905, Münsterberg 1913 and 1908) are stated on the cited pages and were checked against them.
Pavlov cites his Nobel Prize facts page (1904, Physiology or Medicine, work on digestion); the rest cite the English Wikipedia biography. Kahneman is canonical in /economics/economists and linked, not duplicated. James, Freud, and Piaget cross-link their philosopher pages.
46 further references in this dataset named Commons files that do not exist. They were removed rather than repaired and are queued for individual sourcing.
Imported from scripts/data/emotions_rows.csv by scripts/import_emotions.js. Scores are relative percentages supplied by the site owner, not measured concentrations.
Machine-assisted and not uniformly verified. The /mesopotamia section ties attested Mesopotamian cuneiform scholarship to Oracc/AMGG (above). Modern ancient-astronaut hypotheses (Sitchin and successors) now sit in /mesopotamia/concepts, the old /mesopotamia/theories pages having been merged there; they are to be attributed to their 20th-century proponents, not presented as scholarship.
Each entry cites its English Wikipedia article: patch clamp, radioligand binding, FRET, BRET, ELISA, Western blot, HTS, microdialysis, Schild regression, Ames mutagenicity, and MTT cytotoxicity.
