T Helper 1 Cell (Th1 Cell)

A subset of helper T-lymphocytes that primarily mediates cellular immunity against intracellular pathogens by activating macrophages and cytotoxic T cells.

• Activates macrophages to kill intracellular pathogens.
• Promotes the differentiation of cytotoxic T-lymphocytes.
