B-Lymphocyte (B Cell)
A type of white blood cell of the adaptive immune system that produces antibodies and plays a central role in humoral immunity.
Key Functions:
- Produces and secretes Antibodies.
- Presents antigens to T-helper cells.
- Develops into plasma cells and memory B cells.
- Mediates humoral immunity.
