Draco (The Dragon)

Long northern constellation of the dragon, winding between the two bears around the pole.

Core Principles & Analysis

• Thuban, its old pole star, held the north celestial pole around 3000 BCE when the Egyptian pyramids were built.
• Precession of the equinoxes will one day return the pole to the Dragon.
