Pharmacological Mechanism

C-terminal 10-aa fragment of kisspeptin (positions 45-54 of the 54-mer). Equivalent KISS1R affinity + potency to full-length kisspeptin — the RF-amide motif at the C-terminus carries the binding epitope. Same clinical applications (GnRH induction, reproductive research) with easier synthesis.
