Gemini (The Twins)

The twins Castor and Pollux head a zodiac constellation rich in meteors, clusters, and an exoplanet.

Core Principles & Analysis

• Pollux, the brighter twin, hosts a confirmed giant exoplanet, Pollux b.
• Castor resolves into a sextuple star system — three binaries bound together.
• December’s Geminid meteors come from rocky asteroid Phaethon, unusual among comet-fed showers.
