Born in Pune, Doshi studied at J.J. School of Architecture. He worked with Le Corbusier and founded Vastu Shilpa.
Doshi’s philosophy blended vernacular and social architecture, focusing on affordable, context-sensitive designs.
Doshi’s social designs influenced Charles Correa. He won the Pritzker Prize in 2018.
