Nibiru

In Babylonian astronomy and the Enuma Elish, Nēberu ("crossing" or "ferry") designates the celestial transit point associated with Marduk (usually identified by Assyriologists with Jupiter or Mercury); in Zecharia Sitchin's 1976 ancient-astronaut writings, it was reinterpreted as a hypothetical twelfth planet on a 3,600-year orbit inhabited by the Anunnaki.
