A minor indole alkaloid of yohimbe bark (Pausinystalia johimbe) — the free-carboxylic-acid analog of yohimbine (yohimbine is its methyl ester). Its own pharmacology is not characterised and no validated receptor-affinity data for the isolated compound were found.
