• β-Alanine (caution): β-Alanine and taurine share transporter (TauT); chronic high β-alanine may modestly reduce intramuscular taurine in preclinical studies (humans uncertain).
• Hypotaurine (synergistic): Hypotaurine is the direct biosynthetic precursor to taurine via non-enzymatic / FMO-catalysed oxidation.
