Pharmacological Mechanism

OTC antiseborrheic shampoo (1%) and Rx (2.5%). Antifungal against Malassezia furfur (the dandruff yeast); cytostatic to keratinocyte hyperproliferation. Sulfur-smell + temporary hair-color change with chronic use.
