Pharmacological Mechanism

Neoclerodane diterpene from Salvia divinorum and the most potent naturally-occurring hallucinogen. A highly selective, potent κ-opioid receptor agonist (non-nitrogenous, unlike classical opioids), producing a short, intense, often disorienting dissociative experience. Smoked effects last minutes.
