A minor indole alkaloid of yohimbe bark (Pausinystalia johimbe) and a stereoisomer of yohimbine (a 3-epi configuration of the pentacyclic yohimban ring system). Its own pharmacology is not characterised; affinity for adrenergic or serotonergic receptors has not been quantified for this isomer.
