19-nortestosterone; a potent androgen-receptor full agonist with a high anabolic-to-androgenic ratio. A poor 5α-reductase substrate (reduced to weaker dihydronandrolone), lowering androgenic action in skin/prostate, but it aromatizes to estrogenic metabolites and is also progestogenic. Suppresses the HPG axis; the decanoate depot gives a long detection window.
