Respiratory fluoroquinolone — S-enantiomer of ofloxacin. Inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase + topoisomerase IV. Better gram-positive (S. pneumoniae) coverage than ciprofloxacin. Same fluoroquinolone class warnings: tendinopathy, neuropathy, QT prolongation, aortopathy.
