Pharmacological Mechanism

Most potent GHSR-1a agonist among the GHRPs (2-MeTrp substitution drives receptor affinity). Also binds CD36 — distinct from pure GHSR action — explaining reported cardioprotective preclinical effects. Rapidly desensitises the receptor with daily use.
