Pharmacological Mechanism

Smaller HA fragments penetrate the stratum corneum (vs HMW which stays on the surface). In dermis, fragments can trigger inflammatory signalling via TLR2/4 — context-dependent pro-inflammatory or regenerative. Current cosmetic positioning: deeper hydration than HMW forms alone.
