Pharmacological Mechanism

Selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist — same target class as ondansetron. Used for chemotherapy-induced + post-operative nausea and vomiting. Available oral, IV, and transdermal patch (Sancuso) for sustained-release CINV prophylaxis.
