Pharmacological Mechanism

A corynanthe-type indole alkaloid reported among the alkaloids of yohimbe bark (Pausinystalia johimbe); a stereoisomer of dihydrocorynantheine and better known as a minor Mitragyna (kratom) alkaloid. Its pharmacology as a yohimbe constituent is not characterised, and no verified receptor-affinity data for the named compound were identified.
