Acyclic monoterpene alcohol with a fresh rose-citrus aroma; found in rose, geranium, citronella oils, minor in cannabis. Reported antihypertensive (vascular smooth-muscle relaxant), anticonvulsant, and antimicrobial activity in rodent/in-vitro models; insect repellent. Cited in entourage/fragrance framing. No characterized human receptor constant.
