Pharmacological Mechanism

Caffeoylquinic ester — most abundant polyphenol in coffee + green coffee bean extract. Inhibits hepatic glucose-6-phosphatase → modest fasting glucose lowering. Antioxidant; the metabolite caffeic acid contributes to cardiovascular benefit.
