Pharmacological Mechanism

Non-psychoactive phytocannabinoid — weak CB1/CB2 affinity but allosteric negative modulator of CB1; agonist at TRPV1, 5-HT1A; modulator of GPR55, adenosine reuptake. FDA-approved (Epidiolex) for Dravet + Lennox-Gastaut + tuberous sclerosis seizures. Strong CYP2C19 + CYP3A4 inhibitor at therapeutic doses.
