Sesquiterpene alcohol — primary anti-inflammatory active in chamomile + candeia tree. Inhibits NF-κB + reduces inflammatory cytokine release in keratinocytes. Common cosmetic ingredient at 0.1–1% for soothing irritated / sensitive skin.
