A high-affinity non-steroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) that acts as a full agonist at the androgen receptor, driving anabolic effects on muscle and bone with relatively reduced prostate stimulation. Originally characterized as a candidate for hormonal male contraception (suppresses LH/FSH and spermatogenesis). A research-only compound with no approved human use or human PK.
PubChem CID 24892822. No abstract names an S-23 half-life (Jones 2009 says only "favorable pharmacokinetic properties"); circulating figures come from vendor blogs/patents that disagree (see AUTHORING_GAPS).
